One Meditation Counseling Center is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial assessments and intake interviews to identify client needs and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to provide individual and group therapy sessions, adapting methodologies to align with clientsโ€™ cultural backgrounds and individual circumstances.
  • Maintain ongoing documentation of client progress and regularly update treatment plans based on individual developmental and therapeutic goals.
  • Facilitate regular check-ins with clients to provide support, encouragement, and necessary adjustments to their therapeutic approaches.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, which may include psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare providers, to ensure cohesive and coordinated care for clients.
  • Provide clients with resources and referrals for additional support services as needed, ensuring a comprehensive care approach.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role will involve working with a diverse client population facing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. You will be responsible for creating a respectful and understanding atmosphere that encourages clients to address their unique struggles and achieve their mental health goals.

Qualifications
  • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid license as either an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a deep understanding of various mental health disorders.
  • Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to document client interactions and treatment plans effectively.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to develop rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality, ethical standards, and professional boundaries.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in delivering culturally responsive and inclusive therapy and group sessions.
  • Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to manage challenging situations with composure and professionalism.

Compensation and Benefits
