As a Medication Aide at EOSIS, you'll support individuals receiving addiction treatment and behavioral health services. Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, you'll assist with medication administration, provide quality patient care, and collaborate with nurses, counselors, and technicians to create a safe, supportive environment that promotes recovery and wellness.
Pay: $19 - $22 / hour
Shift: Full-Time, 3rd Shift - Hours: 11:00 pm - 7:30 am

Responsibilities
  • Administer prescribed medications to patients and maintain medical records under the supervision of a nurse
  • Verify identity of patient receiving medication and record the name of drug, and time of administration on specified forms or database
  • Present medication to patient and observe ingestion or other application, or administer medication using specified procedures
  • May take vital signs or observe patient to detect response to specified types of medications and prepare report or notify designated personnel of unexpected reactions
  • Record and restock medication inventories
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Nursing Supervisor

Skills & Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High School education or GED
  • Training of medication administration
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a chemical dependency facility preferred
  • CPR and first aid certified preferred, if not - we'll get you certified!
