Their work helps communicate complex scientific information clearly, accurately, and in compliance with industry standards.

What does a medical writer do?

Medical writers create scientific documents and articles. This can include a variety of different types of papers, including research documents, educational or promotional literature, articles, and abstracts. You may ghostwrite for well-known physicians and scientists, or you may write under your own name, depending on what field you are in. Other medical writer jobs include journalists for medical magazines, authors of books, and those who write marketing materials for health care organizations.
