6am-2pm , Tuesday- Saturday

6am-2pm, Friday-Monday

2pm-10pm- Tuesday-Saturday

Your day as a Med Tech

As a new Med Tech at The Ivy of McKinney Assisted Living and Memory Care, you will be responsible for administering medication to residents according to prescribed schedules and dosage instructions. You will also need to accurately document medication administration and maintain resident medical records in compliance with regulations. Additionally, you will play a key role in monitoring residents for any changes in health condition and communicating effectively with the care team and families. Your day-to-day tasks will involve providing compassionate care, ensuring the well-being of our residents, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. Training will be provided to ensure you are equipped to handle the responsibilities of this vital role in our community.

Would you be a great Med Tech?
  • To excel as a Med Tech at The Ivy of McKinney Assisted Living and Memory Care, candidates should possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior caregiving experience, though preferred, is not mandatory as training will be provided.
  • Candidates must also be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess basic computer skills and can effectively communicate in English through speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Successful candidates will demonstrate empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
