Job description

Medical Lab Technologist - Full Time, Days & PRN shifts.
Must have Florida Medical Technologist License

Position Summary: 
  • Obtains or receives specimens, performs clinical laboratory tests by standardized procedures, understands method principles, performs quality control, performs preventive maintenance, and interprets complex tests results as to accuracy acceptability and critical limits. 
  • Works independently, organizing work to meet established turn-around time standards, record all data obtained and maintains job competence.  
  • This position also involves effective communication and interpersonal skills. 

Requirements: 
  • Must have Florida Medical Technologist License (FL Medical Tech license in 6 areas); License/Certification.
  • BS Degree.
  • BLS (preferred).
