Job description

Quality Specialist
We are looking for a Quality Specialist (Technician) to join our New Britain, CT team!
Our Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring that products, materials, and processes meet quality standards and customer requirements. They perform inspections, tests, and audits to identify defects and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Location: New Britain, CT
Hourly Rate: $19 - $21/hour

Your Challenge
  • Inspect raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods for quality compliance.
  • Conduct measurements, testing, and quality checks using inspection tools and equipment.
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
  • Identify defects, non-conformances, and quality issues.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality procedures.
  • Support internal and external quality audits.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and management teams to improve product quality.

What You Bring
  • High school diploma
  • Experience in quality control, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and testing equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with quality documentation software.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • 1-2 years of inspection experience
