Position Description: RN - Registered Nurse - Cardiac Medical
BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Cardiac Medical team at St. Joseph's Hospital. As part of the community since 1934, St. Joseph's Hospital has been a partner for continued health and wellness.
This is a Cardiac PCU unit that takes care of patients with cardiac arrythmias, MI - myocardial infarct (heart attack), overflow for congestive heart failure, and all pre/post cardiac procedures, except open heart surgery.
The RN responsibilities include:
    • Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
    • Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
    • Professional accountability and development.
    • Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

    Qualifications:
    Certifications and Licensures:
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
    • RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
    • ACLS, NIHSS, and PCCN Certification is preferred

    Education:
    • Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma is required
    • Bachelors degree in Nursing is preferred

    Experience:
    • 6 months of RN experience is required.
