Job description

We are looking for an amazing psychiatric medical assistnat to join our awesomeclinic! We want to hire someone with a medical assistant certificate. 


What you will do:

- Take vitals

- Help resolve medication issues

- Complete prior auth's for medications

- Work hand in hand with psychiatric nurse practioners to provide excellent care

- Help resolve patient issues

- Order/read labs

- Answer calls to schedule patients

- Send out scripts per provider's orders

- Be awesome

Why this job is hard:

We work with patients who are having a hard time in their life. They have depression, anxiety, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. Sometimes they can be hard to work with. We don't accept SMI patinets to help limit challenging patients. You must be extremely detailed oriented as mistakes cannot happen with medication.

Summary: We are looking for someone who truly understands medications and can be an extension of our providers. Please only apply if you have knowledge of psychaitric medications.
