Job description

Night Shift Registered Nurse

Shift: Nights 3x12s 1900-0730 Weekend Coverage - Every Other Float is required

Medication System: Omnicell

Documentation System: EPIC - must have at least 1 year of experience

Patient Diagnoses: General Medical Surgical. The patient population on average is elderly with various disease processes including respiratory diseases, infections, dementia, and neurological issues.

Our unit has a healthy work environment and good teamwork and a charge RN every shift to facilitate with flow and oversee operations.

Required Certificates: BLS and RN SC license

Must have at least 2 years of experience

Unit will review first time travelers based on experience

Prisma Health Floating Policy for Contracted Staff

Prisma Health's goal is to keep staff in their home unit. However, it is a requirement for all assignments that agency staff, regardless of unit or facility, must float to other Prisma Health units and/or campuses per request due to census concerns. Staff will only be floating to units they are qualified for and performing tasks for which competencies have already been demonstrated and documented.
