Help

Reviews and analyzes medical records.

Requests information pertaining to patient procedures, laboratory, or other items from activities within the medical facility and places them in the record.

Upon receipt of written requests, follows standard operating procedures to research and analyze pertinent information from records that may include multiple injuries, diseases, and/or medical/surgical procedures and reports findings to requestors.

Ensures proper billing procedures are initiated upon completion/fill of request.

Extracts selected information from computerized database and reports findings.

Receives and screens telephone calls; receives walk-in patients; responds to various general and routine medical, personnel, and administrative inquiries; escorts patients as necessary, and orders and maintains supplies.
