We are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team and help us make a real difference every day. Responsibilities:

  • Handle all duties in a timely manner
  • Perform routine clinical tasks to support the providers
  • Check Vital signs, administer glucose drinks, administer any appropriate therapeutic injections/vaccinations, and perform finger sticks for glucose and hemoglobin level checks.
  • Collect and order specimens
  • Collect and order pathologies
  • HIPAA compliance
  • Work together with all departments to ensure continuity of care for patients
  • Set up and assist providers with in-office procedures
  • Facilitate Fetal Non-stress tests
  • Training, Stocking, and appropriate labeling
  • Escort patients to exam rooms, act as a chaperone for routine exams
  • Charting in Electronic Medical Records systems
  • Understand navigating medical records for pertinent tasks

Qualifications:

  • Preferred previous experience in healthcare or other related fields
  • Preferred familiarity with medical billing procedures and health insurances
  • Strong teamwork skills
