Job Description

We are looking for a full-time, experienced medical practice manager to join ourย team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the staffing and supervision of our two locations, six doctor practice and have experience including supervising the billing department, hiring and termination, staffing schedules, creating and maintaining office protocols, and vendor management.ย 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of medical office management with a staff of 5+
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including writing skills
  • Strategy and problem-solving skills
  • Strong self-organizational skills
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skillsย 
  • Previous derm, plastics, or eye office experience preferred

DESCRIPTION:

  • Direct supervision of clinical supervisors, receptionists, and surgical coordinator including direct scheduling
  • Indirect supervision of doctors, billing department, and medical assistants including oversight of scheduling
  • Train departments on various initiatives; audit results and coach team as needed
  • Recruit, hire, motivate, discipline, and terminate staff
  • Research, select, and manage vendor products and relationships
  • Report to physician-owner monthly with benchmarking reports (training provided)
  • Assistance to physician-owner
