Position Summary

Infusion Solutions of Delaware (ISD) is seeking a motivated and professional Medical Assistant to join our growing specialty practice in Dover, Delaware. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative outpatient environment focused on high-quality patient care in Rheumatology and specialty infusion services.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting while maintaining professionalism and compassion with patients and coworkers.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Assist providers during patient visits and clinical workflows
  • Prepare patient charts in advance of appointments
  • Review and locate laboratory and diagnostic test results
  • Assist with supervised injections and related patient care activities
  • Assist with chart audit requests and clinical documentation support
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providers, pharmacies, and staff
  • Help maintain efficient patient flow and provider schedules
  • Support overall office operations and patient experience
Qualifications
  • Medical Assistant certification preferred, but experience will be considered
  • Prior outpatient medical office experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in Rheumatology, specialty care, infusion, or internal medicine is a plus
  • Strong computer and EMR skills
