Job Opportunity: Medical Physicist
Our organization is actively seeking a dedicated Medical Physicist to become a part of our vibrant faculty at the main campus within the Department of Radiation Oncology. This is a full-time faculty role, and the academic rank along with compensation will be aligned with the candidate's experience and qualifications.
The selected individual will collaborate with a team of nine medical physicists who manage clinical responsibilities across our network, specializing in areas such as brachytherapy, SRS/SBRT, TBI, and quality assurance. The ideal applicant will possess Board Certification (or be Board Eligible) and hold a PhD in Medical Physics or a related discipline, complemented by a robust clinical background in Radiation Oncology Physics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in clinical excellence, education, and independent research within a supportive academic setting.
- Contribute to teaching physics to medical residents, medical physics residents, and graduate students at the MS level.
- Develop and pursue independent research initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified (or Board Eligible) with a PhD in Medical Physics or a related field.
- Strong clinical experience in Radiation Oncology Physics.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to address challenges and work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Our Radiation Oncology Department is equipped with cutting-edge treatment technologies and a comprehensive array of clinical and academic resources, including:
- Advanced Equipment: 3 Varian TrueBeams, 1 Varian Edge, 1 Varian Ethos, 3 CT simulators, Aria/Eclipse/Ethos systems, Elekta Flexitron, and Zeiss Intrabeam.
- Diverse Services: SRS, SBRT, HDR, TBI, IORT, hyperthermia, and Online Adaptive RT.
- Collaborative Team: Comprising 6 faculty physicists, 3 clinical physicists, 1 physicist-scientist, 6 dosimetrists, and 2 medical physics residents.

Compensation and Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, which includes:
- Starting salary ranging from $159,000 to $985,945, based on academic rank and experience.
