Southern Regional Medical Center is a non-profit, 331-bed full-service hospital serving the residents of Clayton County and southern crescent metro Atlanta communities. The hospital offers a complete line of services including Senior Care and Senior Behavioral Health Services; Emergency Services; Heart and Vascular; Advanced Imaging; Laboratory; Neuroscience Services; Rehabilitation; Sleep Diagnostic Center; Surgery/Robotic Surgery; Wound Care; and Women's Health Services, including a Level III NICU. Responsibilities
  • Supervises and directs work of all non-physician staff.
  • Recruits, selects, and trains all non-physician staff.
  • Recommends and implements practice needs including equipment, facilities, and services.
  • Responsible for facilities and premises management.
  • Analyzes and reviews practice operations with physicians on a monthly basis, conducts physician/management meetings, includes: establishing agenda in consultation with physicians and prepare data for meetings.
  • Manages practice within established budgetary guidelines, responsible for revenue cycle management.
  • Conducts fee analyses, surveys, reviews, and makes recommendations to physicians.
  • Assist with implementing marketing plans prepared by marketing and business development staff.
  • Conduct routine audits and inspections of each practice to ensure OSHA and HIPAA compliance.
  • Works as a liaison with CFO, accountants and attorneys to ensure reports to government agencies are on time.
  • Assists the managed care department with insurance contracts, oversees outside billing and collection company.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (B A) from a four-year College or University and at least ten years of related management experience in an outpatient practice setting.
  • Experience in managing physicians and/or physician practices.
  • Experience with general ledger and physician practice expense reporting/bookkeeping, budgeting.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
