Medical Office Cleaner
Overview:
Downtown Women OBGYN in partnership with Square Care Medical Group is currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Medical Office Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a pristine, disinfected, and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors in compliance with healthcare sanitation standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Disinfection: Perform thorough cleaning and disinfection of exam rooms, waiting rooms, restrooms, and administrative areas, focusing on high-touch surfaces.
  • Waste Removal: Safely empty and dispose of clinical and general waste, including handling hazardous waste according to protocols.
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors in all areas, including clinics and hallways.
  • Restocking: Replenish supplies such as hand sanitizer, soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
  • Sanitization: Sanitize medical equipment and examination tables according to staff instructions.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the use of proper chemicals, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and color-coded cleaning materials.
  • Reporting: Promptly report any maintenance issues, hazards, or broken equipment to management

Experience & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in commercial, hotel, or medical cleaning is preferred.
  • Knowledge of infection control practices and hazardous material handling (e.g., OSHA standards) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25-50 pounds for long periods.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism

Schedule: Monday - Friday Evenings (5 hour shift)
