Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Nurse
12-Hour Shifts Available | Day & Night Shift Opportunities | Weekday Shifts Available
We are currently accepting applications for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team as Med Nurses within our long-term care and rehabilitation facility specializing in geriatric care.
We are looking for dependable and compassionate nurses who take pride in providing quality care. Candidates should demonstrate accountability, flexibility, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude while working with our residents, families, and team members.
We are a subsidiary of Crowne Health Care, an Alabama-based system of family-owned nursing facilities. We pride ourselves on competitive wages, a supportive work environment, and a high number of long-term, committed employees.

Qualifications
  • Current Alabama LPN or RN license, or applicable temporary license
  • Must successfully pass background check and drug screen
  • Long-term care experience is preferred but not required
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary care team

Essential Job Functions
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Administering medications accurately and according to physician orders
  • Completing electronic documentation and resident assessments
  • Monitoring residents and reporting changes in condition to physicians, providers, and responsible parties as appropriate
  • Ordering and coordinating medications with the pharmacy
  • Supervising and providing guidance to CNA staff
  • Providing wound care and treatments as ordered
  • Collecting and processing laboratory specimens
  • Communicating effectively with residents, families, physicians, and members of the care team
  • Following facility policies and all applicable state and federal regulations
  • Helping maintain a safe, respectful, and resident-centered environment
