Job description

Packout Team Member
The Packout Team Member plays a key role in the accurate and efficient fulfillment of customer orders. Responsibilities include picking and packing inventory based on order specifications, maintaining stock levels, loading and unloading delivery trucks, and performing additional tasks as assigned.
 
This is a full-time position operating Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts starting as early as 8:00 a.m. Occasional overtime may be required.
 
The ideal candidate is adaptable to varying work hours, physically capable of meeting the demands of the role, and demonstrates strong attention to detail to ensure all work aligns with Dempsey's quality and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
  • Quickly and accurately picks and packs inventory to match customer orders
  • Helps with inventory control
  • Maintains a clean environment, organizes products, and appropriately disposes of waste/trash
  • Performs all assigned duties in a safe fashion and in accordance with OSHA standards and directives
  • Reports any unsafe conditions or practices to management in a prompt fashion
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Must pass pre-employment checks (including background check and drug test)
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Able to lift and carry 50-75 pounds
  • Must have a highly reliable work/school performance record
  • Must have reliable transportation in order to report to work as scheduled
