Location: Highspire, PA and Greater Harrisburg Area

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Route Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will sell and deliver products to businesses throughout South Central Pennsylvania while building strong relationships with existing customers and identifying opportunities to grow our customer base.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, providing exceptional customer service, and developing long-term client relationships in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

Drive Sales & Service Excellence: Manage and service an established route by delivering exceptional customer support and introducing product solutions that help customers grow their businesses. Leverage your relationship-building and sales skills to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products and services while expanding your route organically.

Inventory & Account Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and perform routine inventory audits to ensure accuracy and consistency. Identify additional products and service opportunities that add value for customers and confidently present recommendations during service visits. Support long-term customer retention by proactively managing and renewing service agreements.

Safety & Compliance: Perform all responsibilities with professionalism while adhering to company safety policies, DOT regulations, and safe driving practices. Ensure all deliveries and customer interactions are completed safely and efficiently.

Brand Representation: Serve as a professional ambassador for Dempsey Uniform by representing the company with integrity, reliability, and a commitment to outstanding customer service at all times.

Qualifications
  • Minimum age requirement: 22 years for vehicle insurance purposes
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing with a clean record
  • Must meet pre-employment DOT physical requirements
  • Physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds and carry products into and out of customers' locations
  • Exceptional customer service skills, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to build rapport and trust with clients
  • Ability to meet our appearance and dress code policy
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred; additional education or training in sales or business is a plus.
