Job description

Seeking an experienced laboratory professional for a 13-week contract assignment. This role focuses on supporting essential laboratory operations by performing high-quality diagnostic testing and analyses. Qualified candidates will bring significant technical expertise and a commitment to reliable, timely results.
Schedule:

  • Midnight Shift: 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Active BLS certification.
  • Certification from a recognized national certifying agency (ASCP or NCA).
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technologist, Medical Lab Technician, or similar laboratory role.
  • Hands-on experience with Beckman Coulter equipment; familiarity with the AU system highly desirable.
  • Comprehensive understanding of standard laboratory protocols, specimen handling, and quality control.
  • Ability to function independently and as part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a wide array of laboratory tests in accordance with established procedures and regulatory standards.
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain complex laboratory instrumentation, including Beckman Coulter analyzers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing and analysis of clinical specimens.
  • Perform quality assurance and control measures to uphold laboratory standards.
  • Document and communicate findings clearly to providers and clinical teams.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols, HIPAA regulations, and infection control guidelines.
