Medical Couriers may handle a broader range of medical items, including equipment and pharmaceuticals, often covering wider routes. While their roles overlap in transportation within healthcare, Medical Lab Drivers specialize in lab specimen logistics, making their roles distinct yet related.

Medical Lab Drivers often encounter challenges such as managing tight schedules to ensure timely specimen delivery, navigating traffic or weather-related delays, and adhering to strict protocols for specimen handling and chain of custody.
