Job description

We have several fantastic long-term career opportunities available for medical front desk/PRS roles! If you're passionate about making a difference in healthcare, this is your chance to join a team and thrive in a rewarding environment.

Ideal candidates need to have excellent computer knowledge, good typing skills, and experience with computer programs (e.g., Word, Excel, Office) and medical programs; experience is a definite PLUS.

  • Full-time, PSR four-day-a-week medical PSR position.
  • Full-time phones and cross-train for the front desk.
  • Medical billing- willing to train the right person, but needs to have some experience in an office setting, with computers, data entry, detail-oriented, very good with numbers, or worked in insurance.

Greets patients in a friendly and courteous manner, answers telephones, schedules appointments, medical records, and performs other general access call center duties.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Greet patients in a friendly and courteous manner

- Answer telephone calls

- Schedule appointments

- Manage medical records and perform general call center duties

**Specific Duties Include:**

- Checking in and out patients

- Collecting co-pays

- Handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Verifying patient insurance and information using the computer

- Scanning medical cards and information into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)

- Conducting some insurance verifications

- Confirming appointments

- Taking detailed messages

- Routing calls to different departments

- Maintaining medical records

- Performing other clerical duties as needed

Must be able to pass criminal background checks, drug screen, and current reference checks. You must be at least 18 to apply.
