Job Duties:
  • Supervise and train the work of the janitorial staff in the building.
  • Designate shift and area work assignments.
  • Manage employee relations and performance issues quickly and appropriately. Document and report to management or HR.
  • Review employee timekeeping to ensure compliance with timekeeping rules and complete payroll documents to ensure all employee time is paid correctly.
  • Inspect the jobsite regularly to identify any quality concerns or project work needed; complete and submit inspection reports.
  • Identify and communicate the need for any special project work to management.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies inventory.
  • Respond quickly and appropriately to all customer concerns or complaints.
  • Enforce all safety policies and procedures; immediately report and investigate accidents.
  • Complete training courses as required.
  • Other assignments duties to support operations.

Requirements:
  • Ability to lead and supervise
  • Ability to be standing and/or walking for extended periods of time
  • Previous supervisory experience required
  • A strong work ethic
  • The ability to work alone or within a team is a must
