Job description

Building Inspector - Pickins/Bartow Counties, Georgia

Join Charles Abbott Associates (CAA) and enjoy the career of your dreams! We’re seeking a Building Inspector to work for several of our clients in Pickins and Bartow Counties to perform inspections of commercial, industrial and residential construction.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform residential and commercial inspections

  • Ensure compliance with applicable Building Codes and regulations

  • Review construction plans and documentation

  • Prepare accurate digital inspection reports

  • Communicate effectively with contractors, developers, and the public

  • Help keep projects moving while maintaining high standards

Ideal candidates will have:

  • 3 + years’ municipal building inspection or construction experience

  • Associate’s in Building Inspection Tech (or equivalent experience)

  • Working knowledge of national codes, zoning & accessibility regs

  • ICC Building Inspector cert (or on track to obtain)

  • Pay Range: $24.00–$29.00/hour
