Job description

Description:

We're not just looking for an inspector — we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys solving problems for homeowners and takes ownership of every job from first visit to final treatment.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced, licensed WDO Inspector who takes pride in protecting customers' most valuable asset — their home. You'll conduct thorough Wood Destroying Organism inspections, deliver expert recommendations, and generate bids that reflect both quality and value.

This is a role for someone who is equal parts technical expert and trusted advisor. You know your stuff in the field, and you know how to communicate it clearly to customers and crews alike.

What You'll Do

  • Perform WDO inspections and complete reports in compliance with the Structural Pest Control Board Act
  • Set clear, accurate customer expectations around the report process, treatment plans, and service timelines
  • Generate competitive, profitable bids and follow up to close
  • Answer customer and crew questions — before, during, and after treatment
  • Conduct supplemental inspections and support ongoing contract fulfillment
  • Support company marketing initiatives and contribute to team sales goals
  • Maintain assigned company equipment and uphold all safety standards

Why Join Us

  • Work with a supportive team that values your expertise and initiative
  • Ongoing training through our Learning Management System and company meetings
  • Company-provided safety equipment and tools
  • A culture built on communication, ownership, and showing up for each other
  • Great benefits including medical, 401K, employee assistance program, vacation, sick leave, paid holidays

Thrasher Pest Control is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.

Requirements:

What We're Looking For

  • Active Branch 3 Field Representative license
  • 3+ years of licensed Branch 3 experience
  • Clean, insurable driving record
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Self-starter with solid time-management and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in crawl spaces, attics, and outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work with power and manual tools
  • Familiarity with termite and pest control chemicals and equipment
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
  • Experience in home building or remodeling a plus
