Job Summary:

Regional Medical Director – Emergency Medicine
HCA/Methodist Healthcare – San Antonio, Texas
HCA Hospital Base Services/Methodist Healthcare and its affiliated hospitals in San Antonio are seeking a full-time Regional Medical Director of Emergency Medicine to lead its well-established and highly regarded emergency medicine program across the San Antonio metropolitan area. This is an exceptional opportunity to provide physician leadership, operational oversight, and strategic direction within one of South Texas’s premier healthcare systems.
The Regional Medical Director will work collaboratively with hospital administration, medical staff leadership, and Methodist system leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while advancing clinical excellence, physician engagement, and operational performance across the emergency medicine programs.
Qualified Candidates:
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
  • Eligible for or holding an unrestricted Texas medical license (free of restrictions, probationary terms, or conditions)
  • No history of license revocation, restriction, or suspension in any jurisdiction
  • Current or willing to obtain unrestricted DEA registration
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within emergency medicine
  • Strong communication and physician engagement skills
