Description
We are looking for a Video/Imaging Software Engineer to join our team of media processing specialists. Your mission will be to design, develop, and implement the next-generation media processing pipeline and framework that powers exciting experiences on Apple Vision Pro.
We need your passion, knowledge, and creativity to solve complex technical challenges. You will have a unique and direct opportunity to create products that will inspire millions of Apple's customers as a core member of our fast-paced group.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor degree in CS/EE, or similar fields
7+ years experience with software development
Experience with image and video processing
Excellent programming skills and proficient with one of the programming languages: C/C++, Objective-C, and Swift
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications
Master degree in CS/EE, or similar fields
Experience with media formats(HEVC, H264, JPEG, etc).
Experience with video capture/playback, or media processing pipeline
Experience with developing media SDKs, frameworks and customer facing APIs
