The Radiology Tech I plays a key role in providing the highest quality of patient care while the patient is at Union Health.

You would ensure imaging services are delivered safely, accurately, and compassionately while supporting patients and providers through high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures.

This role reports to the Imaging Services Leadership Team.

Essential Job Duties:

· Efficiently complete imaging procedures while adapting to changes and additional responsibilities
· Demonstrate expertise in patient positioning, equipment adjustment, image processing, and patient history gathering
· Perform technical duties while adhering to established safety standards and organizational policies
· Maintain confidentiality and communicate effectively with patients, providers, and co-workers
· Maintain imaging equipment and supplies while prioritizing patient care needs
· Follow departmental and organizational policies and pursue continuing education opportunities
· Collaborate effectively with team members during imaging exams and patient care activities
· Demonstrate punctuality, meeting participation, and adherence to attendance protocols
 

Qualifications:

· Graduate of an A.M.A.-approved Radiology technical training program
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interactions with diverse individuals
· Ability to adapt to flexible work schedules aligned with departmental needs
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining professionalism and patient focus
 

Licenses / Certifications:

· Holds licensure from the ISDOH and ARRT

· Registered with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) or ARRT eligible

· Holds current CPR certification
