In this full-time role, you will leverage your clinical expertise to diagnose, treat, and manage patients in a primary care setting, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare. You will work onsite in our well-equipped Surgical Center, where an emphasis is placed on teamwork, efficiency, and patient safety. This role requires you to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with the clinic hours wrapping up at 5:00 PM, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. The collaborative culture within our facility facilitates open communication and sharing of best practices among healthcare professionals.

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patient medical histories.
• Order and interpret a wide range of diagnostic tests, including blood tests and imaging studies, to develop patient care plans.
• Diagnose various health conditions and illnesses, ensuring timely and effective treatment.
• Propose and manage treatment plans for both chronic and acute infections.
• Prescribe medications in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
• Maintain meticulous patient records and scheduling to ensure seamless operations and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions and the significance of medication adherence.
• Advocate for disease prevention and health promotion within the patient community.
• Continuously advance your professional knowledge and contribute to research initiatives in healthcare.

Our Physician Assistant will serve a diverse patient population with varying health needs. As an essential part of our primary care services, you'll engage with patients of all ages, addressing health concerns ranging from routine check-ups to complex medical treatments. Our team emphasizes patient education and empowerment, fostering a proactive approach to health and wellness.

• Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies, with a strong preference for candidates holding a Master’s degree.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience as a Physician Assistant in settings such as clinics, hospitals, or emergency departments.
• Current State Physician Assistant license valid in Illinois.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) and possession of a DEA number.
• Strong understanding of patient care standards, health regulations, and ongoing changes in medical policies.
• Exceptional communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with patients, families, and team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, bringing a positive attitude and strong ethical standards to your practice.

• Experience in primary care, acute care, or specialties such as internal medicine, cardiology, family health, or urgent care.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and other clinical management tools.
• Bilingual abilities are considered a plus, enhancing our ability to serve our diverse patient community.
