The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for the assembly and testing of electronic and mechanical components. MT's are required to use electronic testing equipment to ensure product specifications are met and documented accurately to comply with FDA and GMP requirements. The Manufacturing Technicians are required to perform any and all functions necessary to satisfy the forecast and production demands from receiving products, assembly, testing, programming devices, self-inspection, internal auditing, labeling, packaging, and shipping.What you'll be doing
  • Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to specifications and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.

  • Ensure devices are programmed properly using custom programming software.

  • Test devices using test equipment to ensure specifications are met.

  • Ensure equipment and tools are validated and/or in calibration.

  • Perform in-process self-inspection functions as specified per procedures

  • Perform any and all functions related to labeling and packaging Exogen products.

  • Ensure ESD requirements are met while handling electronic components.

  • Ensure all requirements for internal, self and cross audits are fulfilled.

  • Routinely check work area for safety and cleanliness and 6S activities

  • Cross train and working knowledge of all area of manufacturing and kitting.

  • Holds oneself and others accountable to conduct business in a manner compliant with Bioventus' Code of Compliance and Ethics, policies and procedures and internal controls applicable to their role.

  • Other duties as assigned

What you'll bring to the table
  • High school education or equivalency.

  • Minimum 6 months experience in a basic electronics background and working knowledge of test equipment and assembly procedures.

  • Well organized and detail oriented and must have good communication skills.

  • Previous medical electronics experience in a GMP environment preferred.

  • Able to work within a team environment.
