Schedule: Mon-Thurs. - 10 hour shifts - 5:30A - 3:50P
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a pay rate of $18/hr. however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will assemble and support the various medical device manufacturing processes.
A detail-oriented Medical Device Assembly Technician to assemble, test, inspect, and refurbish electro-mechanical medical devices in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assemble and test electro-mechanical devices and components.
* Follow work instructions, schematics, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
* Perform quality inspections and identify product defects.
* Use testing and inspection equipment to verify product compliance.
* Maintain accurate production and quality records.
* Adhere to safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
* Support training and cross-training of team members.
* Participate in production meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
* High School Diploma or GED.
* 1-2 years of manufacturing, assembly, production, or technical support experience.
* Ability to read and follow technical instructions and documentation.
* Basic proficiency with Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
* Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work 10-hour shifts (4 days/week) and overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with ERP systems or electronic work instructions.
* Experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or medical device environments.
* Familiarity with hand tools, testing equipment, and component assembly.
* Coachable, adaptable, and committed to quality and safety.
