Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer
Job Location: Oro Valley, AZ 85755 United States
Job Duration: 4 months of possible extension
Job Summary
  • Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of design principles, practices and implementation in complex systems and assignments.
  • General responsibilities include design concept generation, participating in design reviews, development and testing to assess performance against design specification; reliability testing, and assessment of system interactions.
  • Makes independent decisions.
  • Assists in the development of manufacturing processes and troubleshooting issues to determine root cause and possible engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • TMV, Test Method Development, DoE, data analysis (python coding capability)
  • Digital outputs of a sensor and analyze the data Test bed development
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Developing comprehensive testing plans.
  • Executing hands-on testing protocols.
  • Authoring detailed technical reports.
  • Managing the defect lifecycle (collection, documentation, and summarization for our development partner).

Must Have Skills
  • Risk and requirement management
  • Technical writing (protocols, reports, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience with complex systems

Education & Experience:
  • Degree: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Biomedical, or Software preferred)
  • Years of Experience: 8 yrs
  • Experience in a FDA or FAA regulated environment is a strong plus; Medical device industry is ideal
