Job description

Our client, a leader in the healthcare industry, is seeking a Medical Device Test Engineer to join their team. As a Medical Device Test Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the testing and validation of medical devices used in invasive cardiology. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to quality assurance, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Medical Device Test Engineer

Location:Waukesha, WI (Onsite)

What's the Job?

  • Design and execute manual test cases and scenarios for invasive cardiology medical devices
  • Perform functional, integration, and system testing to ensure product quality
  • Conduct verification & validation (V&V) activities for product releases
  • Log, track, and validate defects to facilitate continuous improvement
  • Prepare detailed test plans, reports, and validation documentation in compliance with regulatory standards

What's Needed?

  • Manual testing experience in medical devices or healthcare products
  • Understanding of cardiology workflows (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Knowledge of verification & validation (V&V), Computer System Validation (CSV), and regulatory compliance standards
  • 3-8+ years of experience in medical device or healthcare product testing
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
