Volt is immediately hiring a Medical Device Assembler in Plymouth, MN 55442
As a Medical Device Assembler you will:
  • Assemble, repair, and test medical devices and catheters in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), FDA, and GMP guidelines to ensure product quality and compliance
  • Perform microscope assembly and handle small, precision components
  • Complete documentation (paper & electronic) for traceability and quality control
  • Maintain cleanroom protocols and adhere to all safety procedures
  • Perform repetitive fine motor tasks (grasping, pinching, twisting) with high attention to detail
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively in a production environment

This is a full time, contract opportunity.
Schedule:
1st Shift : 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday through Thursday
2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM Monday through Thursday
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Required Skills & Qualifications
    • Experience as a Medical Device Assembler or Production Assembler.
    • Strong attention to detail, quality, and compliance standards
    • Ability to follow written work instructions and SOPs.
    • Excellent manual dexterity and ability to work with small parts
    • Comfortable working under a microscope for extended periods
    • Ability to work in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment
    • Basic computer skills for documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Preferred Skills & Qualifications
    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
    • Previous cleanroom manufacturing experience
    • Experience in regulated industries (medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotech)

Pay Rate*: $17.50 - $19.25 per hour.
