Volt is immediately hiring a Medical Device Assembler in Portland, OR 97224
As a Medical Device Assembler, you will:
  • Perform assembly, repair, and testing of medical catheters under close supervision in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with FDA, GMP, and quality system requirements.
  • Accurately complete paper and electronic documentation to maintain full product traceability and support quality investigations.
  • Handle and assemble small components and precision parts, including work under a microscope.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally
  • Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude when interacting with internal and external customers.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and cleanroom protocols.
  • Perform repetitive manual tasks such as grasping, pinching, pulling, twisting, and fine motor movements for extended periods.
  • Sit or stand for prolonged periods while maintaining focus and attention to detail.

Schedule:
1st Shift:- 4:00 AM to 2:30 PM - Monday to Thursday
This is a Full-time, Contract opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer literacy and mathematical skills
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions and verbal directions
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, accuracy, and compliance
  • Excellent manual dexterity and ability to manipulate small parts and tools
  • Comfortable performing prolonged microscope work
  • Ability to work in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
