Job Summary
General Purpose:
The Director, Program Management is responsible for leading strategic, cross-functional program execution and driving customer-focused solutions that support business growth, operational excellence, and long-term client retention. This role provides leadership in developing and implementing global program strategies, ensuring seamless delivery of products and services, and strengthening relationships with key customers. The Director acts as a senior liaison between internal stakeholders and external clients, ensuring alignment, accountability, and consistent delivery of high-quality outcomes.
Principle Accountabilities:
Strategic Leadership & Program Execution
  • Define and execute comprehensive program strategies aligned with organizational objectives, customer requirements, and growth targets.
  • Provide executive oversight for the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, cross-functional programs across multiple accounts.
  • Establish program governance, performance metrics, and reporting structures.
  • Drive operational excellence throughout the program lifecycle.

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
  • Serve as the senior point of contact for key customers and build strong relationships.
  • Partner with clients to define objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success measures.
  • Lead and support contract negotiations.
  • Ensure Scope of the project is assessed periodically, and any out-of-scope elements identified and reviewed with customer.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Lead collaboration across engineering, operations, supply chain, quality and account management teams.
  • Ensure effective communication of program strategy and risks to executive management.
  • Align customer expectations with internal capabilities.

Business Growth & Development
  • Identify and drive new business opportunities.
  • Support proposal development and pricing strategy.
  • Contribute to account growth strategies.

Operational & Financial Performance
  • Monitor program performance against financial and operational metrics.
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Talent Leadership & Organizational Development
  • Build and develop high-performing teams.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and collaboration.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in program management or related areas.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing financial performance and contracts.
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging problem solving tools to statistically quantify decision making.
  • Medical Device/Or Regulated manufacturing experience required.
  • Effective negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a face-paced 24/7 environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in Project management tools-Smartsheet, MS Project, etc.
  • Good Financial acumen-ability to interpret and find drivers of P&L statement.
  • Team builder and collaborator.

Qualifications - Preferred
  • MBA or equivalent.
  • Experience leading programs and large projects in complex environments.
  • Operational excellence and lean background.
