Job description

Purpose - End-to-end program development and clinical success for the Ottava Surgical Robotic System, including procedure sales, support, and driving utilization; develop and execute business plans for assigned territories; lead clinical/technical product discussions and demonstrations; execute referral education; run Business Review Program sessions; manage post-installation implementation/adoption; support after-sales adoption/utilization and educate physicians and staff.

You will be responsible for
  • Develop/execute quarterly business plans to meet procedure and disposable revenue targets.
  • Drive Ottava utilization and expand the user-base in qualified accounts.
  • Maintain an up-to-date, strategic territory business plan.
  • Provide consistent, realistic sales forecasts.
  • Coordinate with Field Sales Territory Manager counterparts to maximize capital and procedure sales.
  • Lead product technical/clinical demonstrations to support sales and adoption.
  • Execute referral education activities to increase procedure sales.
  • Implement post-sales installation, implementation, and adoption protocol.
  • Support new customersโ€™ clinical adoption and help customers achieve clinical/economic goals.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of Ottava products and relevant market/industry trends.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree + minimum 4 years of relevant Medical Device/Healthcare and/or Business-to-Business sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical product knowledge and clinical disease-state knowledge to physicians and economic buyers.
  • Travel extensively up to 75% (overnights within territory).
  • Work in hospital/ASC settings; attend live patient cases; wear required protective gear.
  • Self-starter; critical thinking in high-pressure environments.
  • Ability to work in matrix teams; articulate customer needs/feedback.
  • Highly organized; manage multiple priorities.
  • High-frequency daily communication with sales management/organization.
  • Ability to work in a regulated environment (ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820).
