Our client is a trusted Medical Device Manufacturer that supports cardiovascular health and they are seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Assembly Technician to support the production of high-quality medical devices!
Located in Santa Rosa, CA
Contract to hire
Shift: 1st shift Mon-Thu 5am-330pm
Pay: $22-24/hour
Key Responsibilities
  • Follow all safety rules, required stretching exercises, and company policies and procedures
  • Assemble medical device products using small hand tools, calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, microscopes, and test fixtures
  • Perform in-process quality inspections and provide timely feedback when issues arise
  • Identify, communicate, and report safety, quality, or process concerns
  • Maintain controlled environment integrity by following cleanroom attire requirements and procedures
  • Recognize and report unacceptable materials or sub-assemblies to engineering or supervisory personnel
  • Ensure full compliance with quality, regulatory, and manufacturing documentation requirements
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, and technicians to resolve line issues and recommend process improvements
  • Participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives and 5S activities
  • Demonstrate familiarity with manufacturing terminology and common production defects
  • Move between production stations with minimal errors
  • Train other production employees when certified as a trainer
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and method sheets
  • Perform electronic system data entry as required

Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience (medical device manufacturing preferred)
  • Experience working with small components, adhesives, and microscopes
  • Prior experience in a cleanroom or controlled environment
