Job Number: R0235892 Embedded Microelectronics Security Engineer, Senior The Opportunity: We are seeking a hands-on engineer who enjoys understanding how embedded devices work at a low level. In this role, you'll investigate hard war e security implementations, analyze embedded systems, and develop techniques to recover data and evaluate device security in support of investigative capabilities for law enforcement. This is a highly technical, lab-focused engineering role center ed on hard war e analysis, reverse engineering, debugging, and experimentation. You'll work with embedded systems, security subsystems, debugging interfaces, and memory technologies to solve challenging technical problems and support mission-critical investigative capabilities. You'll join a mission-oriented engineering team focused on developing innovative tools and techniques for digital forensics and hard war e analysis. You Have: * 3+ years of experience with reverse engineering of embedded systems and electronics, including firmwar e, using tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, or embedded sof t war e debuggers or emulators
* 3+ years of experience with sof t war e development in C, C++, or Python
* Experience using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators
* Experience with microcontrollers such as Raspberry Pi, STM32, or ESP32
* Knowledge of ARM architecture and assembly language * Top Secret clearance * Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in engineering, Master's degree and 1+ years of experience in engineering, or 10+ years of experience in engineering in lieu of a degree Nice If You Have: * Experience with cryptography and signal processing
* Experience with FPGAs

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
