Job description

We are partnered with a leading medical device company that develops innovative technologies for spinal, orthopedic, trauma, and joint reconstruction procedures. They are looking to hire a Senior Firmware Engineer to join their Spinal team, developing next-generation implantable medical devices that help restore mobility and improve the quality of life for patients recovering from spinal injuries.
This is a highly impactful engineering role where you'll own firmware development throughout the entire product lifecycle-from architecture and design through development, validation, and production release. The ideal candidate has deep embedded firmware expertise, enjoys making technical decisions, and has experience developing products in regulated environments where quality, reliability, and patient safety are paramount.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of embedded firmware development experience
  • Strong C/C++ programming experience
  • Experience developing firmware for microcontroller-based, bare-metal embedded systems
  • Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
  • Strong understanding of embedded software architecture and system design
  • Experience supporting products through the full software development lifecycle
  • Experience working in regulated industries such as medical devices, aerospace, automotive, or other safety-critical environments
