JLL is seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer 2 to join our Workplace Digital Technology (WDT) team. As a Software Engineer 2, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable software solutions that support JLL's digital workplace platforms. You will work closely with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features while contributing to long-term code health and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain full-stack applications using modern web technologies and cloud-native architectures
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions
  • Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Champion "shift-left" quality practices by embedding testing early in the development lifecycle
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner
  • Contribute to documentation, code reviews, and knowledge sharing within the engineering team
  • Adhere to JLL's security, compliance, and operational standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Databricks platform experience includes Python, PySpark and data pipeline development
  • Power BI development skills including DAX, Power Query, and embedded dashboard creation
  • 2+ years of professional software development experience in at least one backend language (e.g., C#, Node.js) and one frontend framework (e.g., Angular, React, Next.js)
  • Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and relational or NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, distributed team environment with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with AI agents and integrating AI/ML capabilities into applications

Estimated compensation for this position:

123,000.00 - 150,000.00 USD per year
