Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain embedded applications on real-time operating systems, primarily Zephyr RTOS.ย 
  • Design, implement, and test software for embedded wireless systems, including BLE and Wi-Fi.ย 
  • Develop and integrate custom device drivers to support new hardware platforms.ย 
  • Implement and maintain embedded build systems, environment scripts, and version control workflows (Git).ย 
  • Define and implement APIs and communication methods to enable mobile applications to interface with embedded wireless devices.ย 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, engineering, QA, and manufacturing teams to support the full product lifecycle from development through production.ย 
  • Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting of embedded systems and hardware integrations.ย 

Requirements


  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in embedded software development or participation in at least one full product development lifecycle.ย 
  • Hands-on experience with Zephyr RTOS on embedded processors.ย 
  • Strong proficiency in C programming.ย 
  • Experience with real-time embedded systems and device driver development (Zephyr required).ย 
  • Experience with Zephyr Device Tree configuration.ย 
  • Familiarity with wireless communication technologies such as BLE and Wi-Fi.ย 
  • Basic knowledge of MQTT and embedded networking concepts.ย 
  • Experience with scripting and build systems.ย 
  • Understanding of embedded security concepts, including encryption and secure communications.ย 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with embedded IoT modems.ย 
  • Familiarity with Linux-based embedded systems (e.g., OpenWRT, LEDE).ย 
  • Experience with Python or other scripting languages.ย 
  • Knowledge of embedded OS development or migration.ย 
  • Experience with AWS core services, particularly in IoT applications.ย 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's ย degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.ย 
  • 1-2 years of relevant industry experience.
