The Endoscope Inspection Technician is responsible for evaluating, troubleshooting, assembling of endoscopes to assure proper function prior customer purchase. This role is vital to the production and quality assurance of PENTAX Medical Endoscopes.

Responsibilities of Medical Device, Endoscope Inspection Technician:

  • Receives endoscopes for inspection
  • Performs inspection in accordance with SOPs and internal quality policies
  • Assists Endoscope Repair Technicians when necessary with corrections and inquiries
  • Supports workflow of endoscopes throughout repair process
  • Neatly and accurately prepares necessary department documentation: checklists, worksheets, etc.
  • Performs appropriate data entry, and process status data updates and research in the designated company system currently D365
  • Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, as well as applicable professional standards
Requirements of Medical Device, Endoscope Inspection Technician:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Experience working under a microscope
  • Excellent mechanical/technical skills and hand-eye coordination
