Operations & Finance Data Analytics Lead

Job Locations: Houston, TX; Magnolia, TX.

Acuren is currently seeking an Operations & Finance Data Analytics Lead to join our team in Houston. This is an exciting career opportunity for an experienced data analytics professional looking to take the next step and make a meaningful impact within a growing organization.

The role will lead the development, delivery, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise reporting, dashboards, data models, and automation solutions across the I&M organization.

Responsibilities

Using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, dataโ€‘wrangling platforms, and AIโ€‘driven automation technologies, the successful candidate will enhance reporting capabilities, support informed decisionโ€‘making, reduce manual processes, and improve operational efficiency.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models using Power BI and Tableau.
  • Translate operational and financial requirements into clear, actionable reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Develop and manage automated workflows using artificial intelligence and processโ€‘automation tools.
  • Perform and support data preparation, transformation, and quality processes.
  • Partner with I&M Operations, Finance, and functional business units to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Establish and maintain best practices for data governance, reporting consistency, visualization standards, and automation workflows.
  • Support selfโ€‘service analytics and provide training to users on Power BI, Tableau, and other reporting platforms.
Requirements
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence development, reporting, or automation.
  • Strong experience using Power BI and Tableau to develop dashboards, reports, and data models.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with data preparation, transformation, and wrangling.
  • Experience using AI and automation tools such as Power Automate, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar technologies.
  • Ability to manage priorities, organize work effectively, and communicate with technical and nonโ€‘technical stakeholders.
