Job description

altScripts Specialty Pharmacy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Delivery Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, prescription processing, and coordinating logistics to ensure timely delivery to our customers. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all prescription orders are filled and packaged properly.
  • Ensure all deliveries are handled efficiently.
  • Collaborate with couriers to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Provide customer service to patient.
  • Ensure all orders are billed properly and process payment.
  • Conduct data collection and analysis to improve delivery operations.
  • Consistently meet pharmacy's established accuracy and productivity levels.
  • Work collaboratively with other supervisors/functional areas to keep work flowing smoothly and efficiently.
  • Comply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and policies pertaining to the dispensing of prescription medications.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED (per state requirements).
  • Pharmacy Technician registration (per state requirements) - may obtain after hired.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous experience in customer service or logistics, preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 15 lbs.
