Job description

Company Description

The Shipping Coordinator at Arvato is responsible for executing and overseeing daily shipping functions that include processing daily orders through various shipping systems, processing shipping requests, courier/LTL shipments and USPS metered mail. The Coordinator will also support Account Management in researching and resolving customer shipment issues and be responsible for the daily hand-off of all processed packages to carriers and generating end of day reports.

Shift: Monday- Friday 10 AM- 6:30PM

Job Description

YOUR TASKS

  • Oversee daily order processing through designated shipping/mailing systems
  • Coordinate changes in shipping methods as instructed by Management
  • Schedule pick-ups with various carrier/courier services
  • Review, investigate and/or resolve issues with carriers regarding shipments
  • Interaction with carriers/couriers regarding shipment status's and continuous communication with Management
  • Monitor shipping area, stations and verify all packages are processed accordingly
  • Delegate and instruct shipping personnel while maintaining a high level of service and productivity
  • Participate and contribute in process improvements and adhere to the Quality Management System
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of International Shipping Experience.
  • At least 2 years using Microsoft Office; intermediate to advanced level experience in Excel required.
  • At least 3 years working with SAP or a similar WMS
