Job Description

Compensation: $21.75, plus overtime and benefits.

Minimum Age to get hired: 21 yrs, must also be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Shift Time(s): 10:30am - 8:30pm (10Hrs)

As a Delivery Driver at Safe Delivery Guys, you will play a crucial role in ensuring orders are delivered promptly and accurately within the community! You will start and end your day at your designated delivery station. You will start and end your day at our warehouse location at 11311 N. Gessner Rd, Houston, TX 77064.

  • Report to the warehouse for morning loadout and end-of-day vehicle return
  • Load and unload your delivery vehicle with packages assigned to your delivery route
  • Follow the GPS-navigated delivery route to complete all deliveries safely and efficiently
  • Deliver packages to customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle throughout your route
  • Work independently while being part of a motivated courier and driver team
  • Report any delivery issues or problems to management immediately

Shift: 10:30 AM - 8:30 PM (10 hours), 3–5 days per week

Qualifications

As a Non CDL Delivery Driver Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Valid driver license within the state of employment (non CDL driver license is acceptable)
  • Clean driving record — maintain a safe driving record, obey all applicable traffic laws, and drive in accordance with weather/road conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • No prior delivery experience required — we provide training
