Job Description
Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Profession: Occupational Therapy

Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Experience: Minimum of 1 year outpatient experience required
License: State Licensure for Occupational Therapy
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
Must-Have: Outpatient rehabilitation experience and proven competency to evaluate and treat patients
Description:
As soon as possible start needed.
Outpatient clinic seeking an Occupational Therapist.
Patient types include outpatient orthopedic and potentially some outpatient neuro (strokes, TBI).
Experience with shoulder injuries/surgeries, pain management, deconditioning, hand injuries/surgeries, elbow injuries, tendonitis, and wrist fractures is preferred.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field.
Skills required include basic outpatient occupational therapy techniques such as ultrasound, e-stim, exercise bike and treadmill training, and strength training equipment usage.
Support within the department includes the Director of Rehab and Supervisor available via phone if needed.
Scheduling of patients will be managed by a dedicated scheduler.
The team consists of three Physical Therapists and three Occupational Therapists, plus one Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
The electronic medical record system used is Cerner Millennium.
Dress code is business casual with specific guidelines on attire.
No weekend rotations, call, or holiday work required.
Approval for request time off is allowed for up to seven days.
Flexibility in shift times may be accommodated.
