Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to accurately diagnose and evaluate mental health issues using the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, tailoring individualized care plans that incorporate cultural diversity and special needs.
  • Develop evidence-based treatment plans that focus on improving mental health outcomes, incorporating strategies for symptom reduction and patient safety through ongoing evaluation of patient progress.
  • Maintain meticulous treatment records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and department procedures, utilizing current technology to streamline documentation.
  • Collaborate with patients and their families to create comprehensive treatment plans that align with their goals and desired outcomes, actively managing expectations and fostering a supportive environment.
  • Coordinate with external providers and community resources to enhance patient support networks, establishing strong relationships with referral agencies and other clinicians.
  • Engage in educational activities by mentoring students, interns, and volunteers, as well as participating in peer review and chart auditing to promote the growth and development of the clinical team.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
