Medical Director – Psychiatrist
Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Setting: Acute Inpatient Psychiatry

A leading hospital in Fort Wayne is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to serve as Facility Medical Director. This role combines direct patient care with program leadership, offering an excellent balance of clinical practice and administrative responsibilities.

Position Highlights
  • Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (flexible)

  • Adult and geriatric psychiatric caseload, 12–16 patients/day

  • Primarily inpatient psychiatry with occasional PHP/IOP coverage and tele-psychiatry consults

  • Facility Medical Director responsibilities include collaboration with hospital administration, quality oversight, and aligning clinical care with hospital goals
